This could be devastating to the operational model since the culture of hard work ethic stems from the vision of Mike anc David alone. If they are able to share their vision with others who have tremendous work ethics as well then the model could be expanded to other regions of poor minority school districts. C.) My advice to Mike and David as far as management would be to be sure and choose their future teachers well because they will have to share the vision and work ethic in order to make KIPP a success. I also think it may be important for Mike and David to trust the teachers they hire and treat each teacher as a unique individual. You can?t micromanage certain people because it may blow up in your face. Other people however may require constant contact and assistance in order to be successful, just like the students in the demographic areas that KIPP National serves.
